On this page we will be adding details of the many layouts that have been built by club members (or are still under construction).

SDRM can transport up to three layouts in the one van. This dramatically reduces the costs of getting quality layouts to your exhibition.

Most of our layouts have exhibited at our own annual shows.

Many have been invited to other exhibitions and/or appeared in national publications.

Hunstanton (00 gauge)
Based on Hunstanton's track plan,
John's new layout is nearing completion.
He hopes to have it ready for this autumn.

Batty Moss (TT120)
Based on the famous North Yorkshire Ribblehead viaduct.
16ft x 2ft. Nearing completion.
Already booked to appear at Ally Pally in March!

Grosmont (00 gauge)
Work has started on this NYMR station
A 16ft x 2ft exhibition layout
Expected to be ready for our 50th anniversary show

Heritage Museum Service Depot (N gauge)
This 5ft x 2ft 6ins will fit into the back
of a car for easy transportation to shows.

Hornby Dublo vintage layout (00 gauge)

This 16ft x 8ft exhibition layout will be a throwback to yesteryear.
Completion date is also set for our 2028 anniversary show.
